On the 31st of March 2009, D&TS B.V. became a member of eClass e.V. in Germany and was at the same time officially appointed as “Branch Office Benelux”.

eCl@ss e.V.

Spare parts catalogues and 3D software

Record Participation at cDay 2009

With record participation and under a bright sun cDay 2009 on 6th and 7th of may was very successful.

This year's customer, partner and prospective event of CATALOGcreator GmbH and the D&TS/TID Informatik GmbH, that took place with the motto: "More Spare Parts Sales turnover at lower costs" brought many visitors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Herrsching am Ammersee.


The introduction of the new CATALOGcreator release 6.0 was without doubt the highlight of the event.

Important PARTSmanagement order for D&TS

In December 2008 the German D&TS branch office in Wuppertal received an important order from SIEMENS Energy Sector to realize a ”Masterdatamanagement“ system in the branch office of SIEMENS in Erfurt (Germany).

In the first project phase the doublets in the current parts spectrum of the branch office are determined with PARTsolutions and the unique “Fingerprint“ principle, after that several database files can be merged.

In the second phase the SIEMENS-branch office is equipped with a parts classification and management system, with interfaces to CAD-, PDM- and ERP-systems.

The goal is to stimulate and to make it possible to reuse existing parts, as well as structuring storing and finding new part data.
The result is an enormous cost saving in the whole company process and a considerable improvement of data quality.

In the third phase of the project the system is also implemented in the branch offices Mülheim (Germany) and Orlando (USA).

Industry & ICT 2008, a big success for D&TS

Participation in the event Industrie & ICT, held from September 30 until October 3 in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, was very successful for D&TS.

At the presentation on October 1 in “Theater Oranje”, together with STORK Food Systems, dealing on the contribution of suppliers to the Classification and Parts Management project at STORK, more than 60 very interested persons were present.



Paulo Ferreira, Manager Marketing & Sales of D&TS, explains the principals of PARTsolutions to the most important suppliers of STORK Food Systems.

Overall more than 500 guests from various countries visited the stand of D&TS to be informed on the subject of technical communication.


People were interested among other things in the possibilities of the CATALOGcreator software for creating a service portal for selling and faultless supplying of spare parts.

People were also interested in documentation and translations, as well as the possibilities of PARTsolutions in the field of classification, standardisation and parts management.

In general there was al lot of appreciation for the integral approach of D&TS, in which conditioning the content of databases (ERP and PDM), as well as the controlled reuse of information have a high priority.

The introduction of PARTwarehouse

NEWS from our partner companies

During the Industrieforum 2006, a two day symposium organized by the company together with their partners yearly in the south-german Augsburg, CADENAS has introduced PARTwarehouse.



In front of an enthusiastic audience (more than 300 prospectives) Jürgen Heimbach (CEO of the CADENAS AG) and his employees demonstrated a tool for incomparable cost saving and standardization possibilities within the engineering department.

PARTsolutions used by more than 2500000 users traditionally has a geometric identification function for standardization and to avoid doublets with purchased parts, PARTwarehouse does more or less the same with design parts.

PARTwarehouse looks over the shoulder if the designer constructs something new.
A very intelligent system of geometric parameters compares the “new” design in each phase of the process with the designs stored in the database (for example by a PDM system), because of that many time can be saved and it is avoided that in the end more or less identical parts are stored into the warehouse.

PARTwarehouse can be combined with every commen CAD-, PDM- and ERP-system.
